This lovely little video popped up on my fb news feed a while ago and I wanted to share it with you all. For me it’s a small and beautiful reminder that their is no homogeneous ‘muslim woman’. Our experiences vary greatly. There is no singular narrative of servitude, we don’t need patronising or saving because like everyone else, we differ. Some of us wear hijab, some don’t. Some of us read books and some just want to play guitar.
